Day 1: Arrival in Paro, Bhutan
- Warm welcome at Paro International Airport.
- Transfer to your hotel and orientation for the trek ahead.
- Explore Paro town and relax.
Day 2: Paro
- Visit Paro Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang.
- Optional hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) for acclimatization.
Day 3: Paro to Haa via Chelela
- Scenic drive to Haa Valley via Chelela Pass, Bhutan’s highest motorable road.
- Capture stunning views of the Himalayan range and explore Haa Valley’s serene beauty.
Day 4: Paro to Thangthangkha via Shana
- Begin the trek from Shana to Thangthangkha.
- Walk through dense forests of pine, juniper, and rhododendron with views of Jomolhari.
Day 5: Thangthangkha to Jangothang
- Trek to Jangothang, also known as the Jomolhari Base Camp.
- Witness dramatic views of Jomolhari and surrounding peaks.
Day 6: Jangothang to Lingshi
- Cross Nyile La Pass (4,870 m) and descend into the Lingshi valley.
- Encounter yak herders and experience pristine alpine landscapes.
Day 7: Lingshi to Shodu
- Trek over Yeli La Pass (4,930 m), offering spectacular views of Jomolhari, Tserimgang, and Gangchenta.
- Descend to the camp at Shodu.
Day 8: Shodu to Barshong
- Walk along the Thimphu River, passing beautiful waterfalls and cliffs.
- Arrive at the small settlement of Barshong.
Day 9: Barshong to Dolam Kencho
- Trek through dense forests and open meadows.
- Overnight camp at Dolam Kencho amidst tranquil surroundings.
Day 10: Dolam Kencho to Thimphu
- Complete the trek and drive to Thimphu.
- Enjoy a well-deserved rest and explore Thimphu’s cultural highlights.
Day 11: Depart Paro
- Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
- Farewell with lasting memories of Bhutan’s stunning landscapes and challenging trek.
